Local visibility
Local SEO: help nearby customers find the right business.
How your website, Google Business Profile, service areas and real customer experience work together.
The useful bit
Local SEO makes your real services and coverage easier to understand. A Business Profile and a website support different parts of the same customer decision.
Your profile answers the immediate questions
Someone looking at a local result may want your hours, location, contact details or reviews before visiting your website. Google describes local ranking in terms of relevance, distance and popularity. Complete, accurate information helps it understand the business. You cannot buy a better organic local position or remove the effect of a customer's location by adding more town names.
Your website explains the job
A profile has limited room to explain how you work. Your website can set out individual services, project examples, customer questions and the enquiry process. Imagine a homeowner comparing two bathroom installers. A useful service page can explain whether your role covers fitting only or a wider project, helping the homeowner ask the right questions before booking an initial discussion.
Be specific about the places you serve
Tell customers where you genuinely work and whether different jobs have different coverage. A larger installation may justify travel that a small repair does not. Useful location information reflects those practical details. Publishing near-identical pages with a different town name provides little help to the reader. Never present a virtual or invented office as a staffed local branch.
Keep the real-world experience consistent
If the website says one thing and your profile says another, a customer has to guess. Changes to hours, contact details, services or coverage should be reflected across the places customers find you. Real project photographs and an honest process for requesting reviews can support that decision. Only publish information you can stand behind and images you have permission to use.
What we review together
Our local SEO work starts with your priority jobs and realistic service area. We assess the website, Business Profile and key listings, then agree improvements. We look at relevant visibility and enquiries alongside the locations and services those customers actually requested. That gives a more useful picture than treating a map position seen from one device as the whole result.
